  1. Nampa Airport Master Plan Public Meeting

    January 17, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Warhawk Air Museum

The City of Nampa is holding a public meeting Jan. 17 at the Warhawk Air Museum (201 Municipal Dr.) to discuss progress on the Nampa Airport Master Plan. Community members are invited to attend one of two identical presentations at 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. The meeting will focus on recent findings about existing conditions and future needs at the airport. Nampa Airport’s existing master plan was developed in 2010. Rapid growth in the area and continued development has resulted in increasing aviation traffic, highlighting the need to adopt a new plan that better addresses the growing demand at the Nampa Airport. Potential improvements will be evaluated based on public input, safety, efficiency, cost, convenience and other factors. The city is hosting a series of public meetings in 2018 and 2019 to gather input. Visit cityofnampa.us/airportmasterplan for more information.

  3. Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee Meeting

    January 24, 2019, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Nampa Civic Center

The City of Nampa is seeking feedback and direction from businesses, organizations and residents to update our comprehensive plan and you have been identified as an individual who will help shape Nampa's future. • The comprehensive plan is the basic document used to guide growth and development in Nampa. • The plan is meant to represent the community’s consensus about where different types of development should occur and how quality of life can be enhanced for all residents. • The comprehensive plan covers a range of topics including economic development, housing, land use, transportation, public services and more. In total, it represents the community’s vision for how it wants to grow and what it cherishes. Nampa’s current comprehensive plan was adopted in 2012. Most of the work is still relevant, but with continued growth, a detailed review of the plan and its goals is now warranted, and we need your help to make the process successful.
